[Scan-DC] Need scanner suggestion

You can't directly select a talk group. You can press the talk group (right edge) hot spot on the screen which presents a menu. The menu includes "next" and "prev" choices allowing you to cycle through the talk groups on the selected system. You can also lock to that talk group if there's an op in progress.

There is a "Favorites" list that you could populate with talk groups you might need to access quickly. I use that to record certain talk groups overnight for quick review in the morning. Oh yeah, did I mention it has built-in recording capability?

Thanks to Larry and Doug for the quick response. Larry, do you know if the
HP-1 would allow me to directly select a talk group. For example, if I'm
monitoring dispatches on 7A and operations are going to be on 7C, can I
switch directly to that TG (rather than having to wait for the radio to stop
on a 7C transmission and then hitting "hold?"

Ed
