Glebe is a ped accident. I'm told its not fatal but then why are they keeping the road closed after the vic was transported?

Subject: Traffic Alert from Arlington County

Two severe traffic disruptions: NB and SB Glebe Rd from N Henderson Rd to N Carlin Springs Road are closed.  Traffic from N Randolph St can only go NB on Glebe RD.  This is due to a serious traffic accident.  ACPD will open roadways as soon as possible.  
  
WB Arlington Blvd access to N Courthouse Road will be closed until some time on 10/13/2010 due to a large hole in the road surface.  Please avoid both areas if possible.  DJW/E242
