I am hearing the state police on my PRO-96 for northern Virginia area on
the new stars system here in Strasburg,VA. @ Interstate junction 66 with
Interstate 81. I also am hearing Richmond channel 1 headquarters but don't
know how it must be being repeated on the hogback mountain repeater they are
loud and clear here better then when they were on 159. I use to only hear
Richmond on 159. only early in the morning or during inversions I guess
but now it is 24/7. I am only hearing Richmond channel 2 sometimes like late
night so it must be direct off the Thornburg VA repeater system. I also am
hearing both Culpeper channels whereas I wasn't hearing Culpeper east
always. Also I am hearing the tac channels no matter how far away they are I
can hear them really well both sides of the conversations so for me the
stars works great. I did hear the VA State Police Chopper from Richmond at 2AM
night before last still using the old repeater but Culpeper was answering
them on the new stars system. Joe

Listening to my BC785D, I seem to no longer hear (I use to) any VA State
Police (VSP) east communications (154, 159, etc.).
Did VSP change to new freq and I missed it?
