What is a "cassette"? Is that a new type of memory card?

Subject: [Scan-DC] Red Line Problems Due to "Emergency Situation" at
UnionStation
The Red Line is single-tracking between Judiciary Square and Rhode
Island Avenue due to an "emergency situation" at Union Station. I bailed
from a waiting eastbound train at Gallery Place and walked to work next
to MPD headquarters. There was no flood of umbrella-toting commuters
leaving the Judiciary Square Metro exit when I walked past the front of
the DC government building, so the train I left was still at Gallery
Place. A call from a coworker confirmed that.
I saw Engine 2 westbound on E Street at 4th Street NW, headed back to
station in Chinatown.
Mad props to an AM-FM-cassette Walkman for providing the tunes on this
morning's walk.
