[Scan-DC] Fwd: Alert from Arlington County

On the northbound bridge, workers were under the deck working on the piers. Caissons surrounding the piers allowed the workers access to the part of piers normally submerged. Water was being pumped out. There were construction barges in the river too. I could see that from a NB Metro train this a.m. I don't know what work is being done on the southbound bridge. 

The river there belongs to DC. As for ownership of the bridge, I'm not sure (Federal, DC, whatever). It is part of the Interstate system.
