Job Description:
Our client located in central MD is seeking a number of qualified LMR P25 system and coverage engineers.
We are seeking to augment our existing RF Engineering organization with a number of engineers focused on Land Mobile Radio (LMR) engineering in support of both Public Safety and Department of Defense implementations. We are seeking a seasoned lead systems engineer, a seasoned lead coverage engineer with demonstrated experience successfully modeling LMR deployments and a number of supporting system and coverage engineers.
Ideal candidates shall, at a minimum, have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited school and must have demonstrated RF and LMR Engineering experience. Candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements, including U.S. Citizenship, for access to classified information. The LMR engineering team will support existing and future Public Safety and Department of Defense proposal efforts as well as existing and future deployments. Typical implementations include, microwave data links, wireless data, AVL solutions, RF distribution systems including antennas, consoles, and/or other custom peripheral systems.
Qualifications
Desired Experience:
1.Demonstrated RF Engineering experience.
2.Demonstrated Radio System Design and Implementation experience
3.Demonstrated strong background in LMR technology
4.Experience with P25 Digital Simulcast Systems and technologies associated with specific P25 vendor solutions
5.Demonstrated experience with coverage analysis tools, microwave network design and implementation, and/or RF Distribution System design and implementation.

Education or Certification Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited College or University
