I bought one and found a free ship plus 10 bucks off coupon online so my
total outlay with tax came to 83 bucks.  I have heard air traffic on 13.927
MHz plus lots of foreign broadcasts no noise blanker or I haven't found it
yet.  Not to user friendly to covering the bands continuously but can do it
if U pick  a freq U can go up or down from there. To many toys seems to be my
problem.  Just keeping up with all the police and fire dept changes takes
so much time nowadays plus ham radios.Oh for a return to the Hallicrafters
S-38  and Police bands just above the broadcast band on any home am
radio.Add to the  mix my computer and I barely have time to sleep anymore and Fox
News has cut  into my precious spare evening hours. Someday maybe I will find
the time to  enjoy after teaching my grandchildren about my PRO 96 scanner
which I learned  from my nephew while they teach me all about windows vista
and rescue me from my  computer mistakes.  joe
