Went to dinner at Union Station this evening. I left the car in the parking garage with the scanner going. These are the hits I got on Close Call:

160.23

160.92
160.925

160.99

161.295

The pairs close together could be bleed-over of the same channel. 160.99 was very active on the way home, with people talking about loading trains. Probably an Amtrak frequency of some kind or another. Not sure about the rest.

No doubt someone has a detailed Web site with all of these frequencies listed with detailed descriptions of their use. This is just a quick summary of what I got tonight.

160.995 is the Amtrak Ivy City car yards off New York Avenue. It is also a frequency for the New York City Transit Authority in the Bronx. I have heard the NYCTA frequency when tropospheric ducting is in effect, usually in August.
