Alan and list -
The PRO96 and 2096 cannot trunk the new PG system. It's on 700 Mhz, and the firmware doesn't allow the trunking tables to be modified for that band.
In addition, the system will evidently be using TDMA Phase 2 modulation, which no scanner can decode (this is the same situation with the new Loudoun system). Right now there have been some comms during the Redskins games, and these have been monitorable. Please see this thread on RR - this will undoubtedly wrap, but it's in the Maryland forum

A friend has asked me to help him program his Pro-96 for PG's 700 MHz system. I do not have one.
Is this indeed the correct "extended table" to use with Win96?
CH Lo CH Hi Base Freq Offset Step
0000 4095 851.00625 0000 6.25 (FDMA)
4096 8191 762.00625 4096 6.25 (FDMA)
8192 12287 851.00625 8192 6.25 (TDMA)
12288 16383 762.00625 12288 6.25 (TDMA)
On a somewhat related note, is anybody monitoring the STARS sites in Northern Virginia using a scanner or Pro96Com? I receive the Fairfax and Arlington sites weakly here in Takoma Park.
Thanks!
Alan
