About 12:30 p.m. we had 9-12" of snow in Gaithersburg, depending on where you measured. Montgomery County Ride-on buses are also shutting down. It is coming down too fast for the plows to keep ahead with clearing the roads.

I've noticed here in Arlington that the snow has gone from what I would call a nice snowstorm, to now becoming problematic (stuck cars, hard to walk, etc.) Apparently Metro agrees.

We've got about 8" or so on the ground, and it's coming down steady, hard, and blowing, for at least the last couple of hours.
