[Scan-DC] Snow!

I had to work tonight until 10 in Rockville and drive home to Gaithersbush (9 miles)... I was driving the Tahoe and had it in automatic four-wheel drive mode so I wasn't really concerned about things, but I guess it had started to snow between 830 and 9 in Rockville.  By the time I got home I was finding slippery spots, and within the last half-hour the accidents have started to happen, from listening to the scanner.

I had hit the Giant down the hill last night so had all my provisions :) but after I got home tonight, decided to try the Safeway for the cream cheese that I'd forgotten for the bagels - the Tahoe was strategically parked in its snow escape position and I didn't want to move it, so I took the Buick... one block away and I noticed quite a difference in traction and accumulation.

This one is going to be ugly.

Andy, hope the other half gets home OK.

Regards,

Doug
