Safe? Ummmm.... 

I see enough of Metrorail every day. There's still one bus line that
connects the Pentagon with downtown DC, the 13A and 13B. Sometime I take
it. Radio reception inside the Metrobus is not so hot. The radio lights
up when I get off the bus.
