[Scan-DC] Arlington Cemetery Flyover Thursday 1:05 p.m.

It was "cool" as always.

4 ships flying east to west over Bolling AFB (when I spotted them) at about 
1000 agl coming in at about 300kts....

Just before the cemetery, ship #4 (rear left) went vertical to about 16000 
agl while the three remaining headed off up the river towards Tyson's 
Corner.

It's an unmistakable sound, and you could see the glow of #4's afterburners 
till he pushed over and leveled out.

The whole show only lasted about 45 seconds....but it is always worth the 
wait!

Well, I _heard_ 'em in "Rockburg" (between Rockville and Gaithersbush) at 
about 1:10 p.m. while I was out to lunch today, but by the time I realized 
what it was, the noise was gone and there was no point in scanning the 
sky... sighted nothing, sank same. :( :) Rats.
