[Scan-DC] Trying to save a few $$ on fully adjustable BNC back-of-set scanner antennas

Thanks Jack and Doug.

I noticed that MFJ has a similar item (MFJ-1811 I believe) to the Ramsey
item. I wonder how the quality is?

For higher frequencies, I also noticed that there are "surplus" Senheiser
wireless mic antennas available on eBay (item 170411109891). But those look
like they only extend to maybe 9" or so, so probably only decent receiving
antennas at UHF and above.

You would think that these things would be available for cheap at hamfests,
but I don't recall ever seeing them. No doubt once I plunk down a bunch of
money to acquire some, I'll see them at the next hamfest for $2 each.

Cheers,
Andy

Ramsey Electronics has a BNC telescoping antenna for around $15, but the
maximum extended length is 19".
