[Scan-DC] Black Friday

I have a Haier 7" portable LCD TV with ATSC tuner. The sensitivity is
absolutely horrible. I live 21 stories up with direct line of sight to
the channel 4 tower across the river, and I can only decode the signal
about 30% of the time. If I put it in a window looking directly at the
tower, it works. But get one single wall between the TV and the
window, and reception drops out. I tried the TV on the ground floor
and it did not receive any signal at all, even though I am within 5
miles of 7 different stations. So, before buying a portable TV, I
recommend checking the online reviews!

The people who design the 20 mile FRS-GMRS radios should also make
portable TVs. The range would be 500 miles!
