Subject: [Scan-DC] Interesting Medflight call Friday night

Heard an interesting incident out here in Shenandoah County Friday night.
About 10:00 pm, there was a landing zone set up to fly out a hunter whose
deer stand had collapsed. He fell 20 ft, landed on his feet, shattered his
ankle, and hurt his neck and back. He was also suffering from mild
hypothermia because he was out in the woods five hours before they found
him. Then they had to carry him out of the woods. Definitely not a good way
to start your weekend.
