[Scan-DC] CIA Protective Servcies

Several years ago, I seem to remember that CIA Protective Services had talkgroups assigned to them on the DoD UHF trucking system that Ft. Meyer, McNair and other installations were on before they migrated to the new 300 MHz NCR Project 25 standard systems.  I don't remember hearing any traffic on those talkgroups and I don't believe that DoD UHF system is even operational today.

Does anyone have information on what system they are on today?

The security guys switched off of these long ago. I believe they are on a UHF system now. It is also the same security guys that are at other locations in McLean and Tysons.

For a while the 164 MHz freq was used by a location on MacArthir Blvd.

Good afternoon. I have not heard traffic on these two frequencies in years. Have I just missed it, or has the CIA switched to other frequencies or to a Federal trunking system? Please confirm.

172.57500 RM 156.7 PL Victor Security Protective Service - Secondary FM Federal
