Fire Chief Richard Bowers is proud to announce delivery of BC705. This unit is the first of 3 2009 Chevrolet Yukon XL with stock number 7-09-8278.

This unit is designed to be a primary command platform capable of accommodating a 4 person Incident Management Team (IMT). The unit is equipped with 4 mobile radios, 3 of which can be isolated by headsets providing the IMT with the capability of communicating on 4 separate Talk Groups, while limiting the number of radios being transmitted through the interior speakers. The unit is equipped a Vehicle Repeating System (VRS) providing an on-site repeater capability for areas having limited communication access with the trunked radio system. There is a 6 port gang charger as well as a single portable radio charger. An 110V GSI outlet is powered by a 600W inverter that can provide power to a laptop, printer, or any item that needs charging. The unit was fully equipped to meet MCFRS' All-Hazard Response requirements.
