I would agree. Last month I got a refurbished XP machine from Dell off of
eCost.com. It's a super-fast 32-bit processor (sorry, I forget the specs),
which I needed to run my new Perseus software-defined radio. It runs great,
doesn't have Vista, and was only $220. The only downside is that the optical
drive does not burn DVDs.
