I just checked my email a few minutes ago. I must have just missed this.
I have a good enough view to the east tonight. Jupiter is lovely.

At 7:40 or so, I was able to see Vega by lying on my back and looking
straight up a chimney that extends for two floors and one attic. Back in
August, I was doing this at 9:30.The stars rise four minutes earlier
every day.
