[Scan-DC] 88.5 KEOM from Mesquite TX is invading 88.5 WAMU on my car radio

Sorry for the slight off topic from the normal message here on Scan-DC  
but there are enough smart-pants out there who may know the answer.

Over the last two days I have been picking up 88.5 KEOM radio from  
Mesquite TX on the 88.5 WAMU frequency.

KEOM starts fading in and out as I get closer to Leesburg while on  
Route 7. While in Leesburg there are some spots where it completely  
overpowers WAMU and I can hear it clear as a bell.

As I travel West of Leesburg it still fades in and out and then as I  
pass Purcellville on 7 it again completely overpowers WAMU.

So far this has only happened in the evening between 5:30 and 7:00.

Has anyone else experienced this?
