It might be useful to also provide a list of especially good Internet-based
suppliers (those that provide something other than the normal off-the-shelf
scanners and accessories). Two of my personal favorites are Ramsey
(www.ramseyelectronics.com) and Mini-Circuits (www.mini-cicuits.com).
Mini-Circuits in particular is a great source of relatively inexpensive
pre-amps and filters.
Cheers,
Andy

Besides RS, of course....
>From time to time, this question comes up - just recently, on the RR
Maryland forum, in fact. I've captured the ones mentioned there and gotten
their URLs - I can add these to the CHM website easily enough. But let's
expand this - are there any others in the DC, Va., MD or Delaware areas we
should list?

The only one that I didn't get a good hit for is PopTronics - too many hits
with the abbreviation for Popular Communications and didn't find much when I
did a search on PopTronics and Maryland. Anyway, let's stay away from those
that have just a post drop or PO Box number
