I saw it at 8:30 tonight at the Slaters Lane control point in Alexandria.
He was headed south on the number three track, the one farthest to the
west. He stopped at the southbound absolute signal and then proceeded
through it. It was red, so he must have had the dispatcher's permission.
In that case, there is signal trouble too, because that signal protects a
crossover between the number two and three tracks. There was someone in
the cab on the rear of the train. I pointed at the signal when he went
by, but I don't know if he was aware of the significance.
