Just an FYI, and IIRC:
RS first Trunk Tracker was the Pro-92.
RS first digital Trunk Tracker was the Pro-96.

I also have a first generation RS digital scanner. At times the volume
drops significantly. Wiggling the antenna usually brings it back to normal
level, although I can't imagine this is good for the antenna connection.
Has anyone else had this problem and gotten if fixed?

My "significant other" has one of the 1st generation RS (made by GRE)
portable digital trunking scanners, I can't remember the model #... the
display failed (just after the one-year warranty expired, of course!). She
took it back to the RS store and they sent it out... I believe that it was
returned to the store after it was repaired and she picked it up from there
after they notified her. Whole process took less than 3 weeks I'm sure... I
don't remember the exact time frame, but I do remember that it came back
more quickly than I expected. It's worked fine since - seems to me the
repair was only $50 (it may have been as much as $75) but she was not
unhappy. Apparently there was an issue with the displays in that model.
This was just about a year ago.
