The 72-76 band is used to link paging base stations. Motorola paging
stations were available with the 72-76 transmitter and receiver options. It
was an economical way to link simulcast paging stations together. I don't
believe there are any pagers in use in the U.S. on 72-76. I imagine Mobility
still has Doctors and other medical personnel in their customer base.
