Some folks noted they would have liked to have seen the TacSat-3 launch from
Wallops Island. It was an impressive beauty as viewed from my home in the
Lewes, Delaware area. The next scheduled launch at Wallops is a NASA
Terrier-Orion suborbital sounding rocket set for May 28. The launch window
is noon to 4 p.m. The backup days are May 29 and June 1 -5. Web cast for the
May 28 mission will begin at 11 a.m. EDT When it gets closer to launch, you
may gain more information at: http://sites.wff.nasa.gov/webcast/ For
those interested in missile viewing from the Wallops Island, VA NASA site,
just click on the View Live button. How far the missile streak across the
sky may be viewed, I don't really know this time, since it is a sub-orbital
flight.
