[Scan-DC] Entena for bc396d or bc245xt?

Very casual scanner guy? Huh?
Don't quite know by what you mean as portable.
Here's two that I have used for over 9 years plus.

Using them  on a bc796 
and bc895 and bc780 (soon to be paperweights!!! groan)

Hello to all,

I know I asked this question about a year back but I miss placed the many
great answers I got back.  I have a bc396d and the stock antenna just is not
receiving as well as I would like.  Can any one suggest a good portable
antenna to use?  I also have a friend who is using a 245xt and as the same
problem.  Thanks for any help.
