My question is why do they do these so late at night. Come on there will be
F-16s buzzing by in the middle of the night.

I am sure some of you would agree.

I am not saying that security should be overlooked but this exercise should
be done earlier. Maybe people want to see what their money is getting them
or just to even see what they do.

It's bad enough I live close to some rail road tracks and hear the engine
chugging away and them blowing the whistle at every crossing.

Anyways that is my 2 cents.

JOHN

WASHINGTON -- A pair of F-16 fighter jets will fly periodically at
relatively low altitudes over downtown Washington Tuesday and Wednesday
mornings, Air Force officials said.

The flights are part of a military exercise.

The jets will cruise over D.C. several times between midnight and 6 a.m.
Tuesday and Wednesday, Air Force Lt. Col. Almarah Belk said.

A helicopter and two Cessna prop planes also will take part in the exercise,
she said.
