[Scan-DC] Motorcade on Northbound I-395, Wednesday at 5:50 p.m.

What fasinates me are the many out-of-state police car using thier sirens 
and over-head flashers.  I assume they are in-effect 'impersonating' when 
they are forcing DC area drivers to the side of the road.

I was going south on I-395 Wednesday at 5:50 and noticed that motorcycle
cops, probably VSP, had blocked the entrance ramps to northbound I-395 at
Glebe Road and the Shirlington Circle. As my bus went over I-395 at the
southern part of the circle, I could see the first wave of a few dozen
motorcycle cops headed north, between the circle and King Street. They
were followed by a few buses of they type used for intercity and commuter
services. The buses had "DC" in large letters on the side. I could not
make out any other writing by that time, as I my view was obstructed.
People waiting to go north had got out of their cars and were watching
the show.

I do not think the Capitals or Penguins enjoy this sort of treatment. At
least it wasn't a VC-25.
