[Scan-DC] Arlington retuning?

Dave,

You may be right, since the new digital system is presently using
frequencies in the 866-869 MHz range. I wonder if I will have to reprogram
my 396XT after the switch, or whether it will be able to discern the retune
from control channel data (the control channels are not in the 866 - 869 MHz
range).

Apparently the radio shop is going full-out to do the switch. I heard units
marking out for retuning at 1:00 in the morning. Hopefully the techs get
overtime, and maybe hazard pay due to last night's rain and lightning.

Andy

Andy,

Maybe they're rebanding the 866-869 freqs down to 851-854. They may
also have to vacate the 860.xxx freqs.
