[Scan-DC] U.S. Capitol Police Department's radio system

I used to use my SSN as my DL #, for the sake of convenience. When I renewed the DL in 2007, VA DMV issued me a new, non-SSN DL#, even though I had not requested it. Apparently DMV watches out for us in this era of identity theft, despite the complacency of some of us. Kudos to them.

For the longest time, my SSN was my VADL number. I've got a T-number now.

Yeah, me too. I have a great story about how I responded to an Alexandria
PD transmission I heard a mere two weeks after I got my first 800 MHz
scanner. Had it been encrypted, the bad guys would have got away.
