[Scan-DC] Interesting piece on News Channel 8

Tonight's news had a segment on the VSP roof-mounted cams. 
The cams, used to look for confirmed GLAs/stolen vehicles, can scan 1500 registrations/plates per minute (!), and alert the trooper immediately if a hit comes back.. From there, the trooper confirms (via computer) that the vehicle is indeed in the database as a GLA.
Ya gotta love technology.
