[Scan-DC] Canal Day Waterfront Festival

The town of Chesapeake City, Maryland, has a Canal Day waterfront festival on the last Saturday in June every year. This was brought to my attention by an entry made by the US Coast Guard in the Federal Register for Thursday, March 12. See 74FR47, page 10695. They want to establish a permanent regulated navigation area on the day of the festival. The festival attracts hundreds of boats and thousands of visitors.

The festival is no doubt chock full of radio traffic on CG frequencies, LE frequencies, amateur bands, FRS bands, and so forth.
