Monday a.m.: The Alexandria DASH bus service has two lines that go to the Pentagon during rush hours. One has a few challenging hills, the AT4 line, and the other is mostly flat the AT3 line. I took the AT3, the flat one. The radio in the bus was full of chatter from the other line. Buses on it were stuck on the hills. Big hills on the AT4 line are on West Braddock Road, the 300 block, Cameron Mill Road, the 2800 block, and Gunston Road, the 3600 block. The only hill the AT3 faces is on Russell Road, the 2500 block.

If the hills get icy tonight, there could be some radio talk.
