Except real TIVOs have remotes that are 10 times better then what comes with
any DVR.  We have  a non-HD TIVO and an HD DVR, and sometimes we watch a
show in nonHD just because the remote is so much easier to use.  Obviously
we need to get an HD TIVO too.

I've been using a DVR for years.  It's like having free TIVO.    There are 
only 2 CECB's that have the timers needed to park in front of a DVR so you 
can forget about it and just keep auto-recording stuff to the HDD
