Just as an aside, the original writer ate a bunch of crow,
and sent another letter to the newspaper apologizing, explaining
he had no idea, and outlining his time in the Navy as a Vietnam Vet.
The letter from the Lt Col is outstanding, but the guy who
wrote the first letter was simply uninformed.
