The United States Secret Service is looking for you.
(Washington, D.C) – On Saturday, February 28, 2009 the United States
Secret Service will host a career expo in Washington, D.C., to fill
more than 1000 positions available with the agency. Currently, the
Secret Service is recruiting highly motivated individuals for
administrative, technical, professional, special agent and Uniformed
Division officer occupations.
The United States Secret Service, a federal law enforcement agency, is
charged with a unique dual mission of protection and investigations.
Administrative, technical and professional staff members perform a
variety of assignments in support of this unique mission, and the
positions demand integrity, a great work ethic and an appreciation for
teamwork. Applicants are being sought with backgrounds in finance,
information technology, intelligence, human resources, security, law
enforcement and administrative support and U.S. citizenship is
required for selection.
To meet interested applicants the Secret Service will host a career
expo on Saturday, February 28, 2009, at the Renaissance Hotel in
downtown Washington, D.C. Secret Service personnel will be available
to discuss all aspects of the application and hiring process.
