[Scan-DC] Interesting graphic of trunking pattern

While fooling around with my spectrum analyzer tonight, I took at look at
the Federal trunking band at 406 - 420 MHz. I noticed that one of the
prominant trunking systems uses a very basic pattern to assign radio
channels to active talk groups -- it just runs down the list of authorized
channels, then when it gets to the bottom, it starts back at the top again.
I'm not sure how many trunk systems do it this way, but such a clear pattern
isn't evident in other trunking bands, like 800 MHz. Anyway, I found it
interesting. I posted a waterfall plot at
http://www.w4je.com/specweb/trunk.php.

Cheers,
Andy
