Thanks for the link, Mike, I need to take a closer look at the V-scanner pamphlet.

Alan, I bet you're right, I think the programming came straight from RR.  I just looked at what I copied and pasted earlier and it appears to have gotten messed up... the easiest way may be for me to just download the stuff directly from there.  Will keep fiddling with it and keep you posted.
