[Scan-DC] what is a 'Code 1 assist?

This is why a Uniform Code should be required. Each state and within some
states, some cites have their own traffic codes. DC is different than the
State of California and the State of Oregon and Washington. DC seems to
stand alone - away from just about every other State in the Union.........
which makes no sense. Even the use/number of "white lights" within a
cluster of emergency lights can be different for the DC government. Ask any
of the national mfgr's, i.e.., Federal Lighting, etc., and the others! If
DC would fall into line with the surrounding jurisdictions, purchasing costs
would drop and the taxpayers would be the winner!
