[Scan-DC] Anyone Railfan?

There's some pretty nice spots South of Manassas, as was alluded to with
Nokesville and Baelton. One might also consider Culpeper where the NS
passes through, I've also had some good luck at Brandy Station. This line
is part of the former SOUTHERN DC to Atlanta mainline, in a 24 hour period,
it probably has about 10 trains, including 6 to 8 road freights, 4 passenger
jobs, and a handful of "locals" that is trains meant specifically to switch
certain lineside industries.
The line through Fredericksburg is former RF&P (present day CSX) and is
CSX's major Eastern corridor for North/South freight movements. In my
experiences, the RF&P is great, but as a guy who doesn't really care to see
passenger trains, it has a few too many for my tastes.
There's about a dozen freights per 24 hour period on the RF&P, everything
from mixed freights to coal trains, they cannot run autoracks and
doublestacks (single stack and trailer trains only) due to clearance issues
at the Virginia Ave and M-street Tunnels in DC. The RF&P tends to see more
daylight freight action in the daylight because VRE isn't operating, alot of
the freights end up sitting idle for several hours during the 'rush hours'
which ends up with many trains running in darkness on weekdays.
