Used to be big time but mostly in MD. But I have not been in the area
or active since 2002. I had a web site with signals, mileposts,
schedules and all of that but I never migrated it to the new site. I
still have dumps of it some where and the signals database is still in
my Palm. There used to be a site called the Bull sheet which would
help with a lot on schedules. pacerfarm.org has some good info still.
I am more knowledgeable about CSX than NS lines. I was up over
Thanksgiving and it sounds like the same dailies are still running the
Old Main Line. I used to spend a lot of time at Point of Rocks. Anyway
I monitor the list so if a questions comes up and no one answers I
will chime in. Oh it looks like the Way Back machine captured the
pages fairly well.

Also if your interested in rail fanning you definitely want to check
out ATCS monitoring.

There is a VA rails group that used to meet not sure what happened to
them I was on their list at one time.
