[Scan-DC] Interesting antenna result on MWAA

In the process of trying to find various antenna's that might pick up MWAA's PCC, I tried various outdoor antenna's 

A winegard --more broad-band then most  -- rotable hi gain UHF TV w/ antenna mounted pre-amp got nothing.  Suspect pre-amp filters out 868Mhz

A 2 mtr colinear @ 50 ft feed with Belden 8214 provided a weak signal

A 6 mtr J-pole at 40ft w/ same Belden cable provided the strongest signal of the 3.

Would have expect the opposite.
