[Scan-DC] Battery Source for BC245XLT?

Wandering through the battery suppliers in our website, I found the following (in addition to the Batteries America link given earlier);

Of course if you had a dead pack that you cut the connector from, get a couple of Nimh batteries with solder tabs and wire them up, you're good to go. I haven't a clue where you would get them around here, though

However, the 245 will be of limited use in DC. Both DC fire and police are on digital systems which the 245 cannot decode. You need a digital trunktracker for that. It could hear the analog VHF relays (but it's anyone's guess which talkgroups they will patch through), US Park police and some other things, though
