[Scan-DC] V-Folder VS1 SL1 ??

Hi David

As I come up to speed I realized when I got to TSYS field, before hitting SEL, could get to correct SL by using < > keys then continuing on down the menu. Besides enabling ROAM found I also had to reduce the 'LO Thres' from 75 to 45 before it worked.

Thanks for getting me started.

Bob,

I started out by loading the DC area from the V-Folder and experienced the same as you did. Traffic on the PRO-96, nothing on the PRO-106. The way I got it to work (and I'm sure there is an easier way once I read the manual) is to have it only scanning bank 1 (DCFD800), pressing the PGM key, then pressing the EDIT softkey, then the CURR softkey. This will place the scanner in the Talkgroup screen where you will press the down arrow to get to the TSYS field. Hit the SEL key , it should then be flashing in the Type field (should say MOT 800/900) Use the down arrow and step thru the fields (it's past the 'Expert Below' section). until you get to the one that says 'Multi-Site'. The left & right arrows will take you through the options. I set mine to Roam, saved it using the SAVE softkey and it seems to work ok. They caution the user on changing other options until you've read the manual. I think I know why.

Let me know if it works out ok for you.

I had the same issue, believe it has to do with the Multi-Site setting. Have mine set on Roam and it seems to work ok.

Re Wash DC SL1 called DCFD800. Assume 800 is the new system that is suppose
    to fix coverage problems.

Hear alot on SL2 (DCMPD) but nix on FD. Only interested in MPD but wonder
if I have a radio problem?
