It just loads everything for the major systems in the NCR. Getting traffic
from Alexandria Fairfax, Arlington and the on Wash DC system.

Getting a strong data signal on 852.6375 so it's not a signal problem.

Guess I just play around w/ the stuff that works until I come up to speed

I don't know how the 197's V-Folders work, but if they are like the 96, the
V-Folder must be "loaded" to work. And yes, once loaded, you should be
hearing the traffic if the systems are set properly. As of right now,
DCPD's current control channel is 460.1000, and DCFD's current control
channel is 852.6375.

Hello Dewey

Does this mean you are hearing DCFD 800 traffic?

It's not a matter of proper settings yet since the V-folder starts with
every TG enalbled

They are actually two separate systems. The 800 system is DCFD and the UHF
system (460 MHz) is MPDC. You can get more on the proper settings for the
systems (more so for the MPDC system since the DCFD system is a standard 800
system) at Radio Reference.
