It's actually far superior to the Pro96.
I've had a Pro-106 for about a month, I sold my Pro96, and I just
bought two Pro-197s.
If someone can set up a room with a projector that I can hook to my
laptop, I'd be happy to demonstrate how to use the Win500 software to
use the "VScanner" pre-programmed files that come with it, to add
talk groups to systems to the VScanner files, and to add trunked
systems to those that are supplied with it.
For example, I added the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority
800 MHz system, the Arlington APCO25 system (it only comes with the
Arlington analog trunked system pre-programmed), the Washington Gas
900 MHz system and the WMATA 490 MHz system.
