Speaking of the ANGEL FLIGHT the FAA/NTSB release some new info today about
that.
It might be interesting to listen to them and maybe send letters to the FAA
about errors and stuff that can help others with opportunities for better
training.

While cruising liveatc.net, I noticed a page containing dozens of links of
audio clips from tower comms. Some were humorous, but some were downright
scary, like the private pilot with no IFR rating who gets disoriented in bad
weather and starts screaming at the controller "I'm going to die! I'm going
to die! Help me please!" Or the audio of a few near-misses and missed
approaches, or the last moments of the flight last month in Massachusetts
with the pilot flying the cancer patient to the hospital, whose plane
crashed into the shopping mall parking lot. The controller was telling him
that his transponder was showing his altitude as being too low, he needed to
climb immediately. The pilot responded that he was climbing and turning
right to 030. Then the controller kept calling the pilot asking him if he
was having trouble because his altitude was showing as varying up and down
... no reply. He asked other pilots on approach to monitor 121.5 for an ELT
signal.
Very interesting audio files on that site. The link is
http://www.liveatc.net/recordings.php. You have to register (no charge) to
play the audio files.
