DULLES AIRPORT INTRODUCES THE AEROTRAIN
Media Invited to Advance Viewing of New Airport Train System
The Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority will host the media on
Monday, August 18 at 10 AM for an update on the D2, Dulles Development
capital construction program at Washington Dulles International
Airport. The event features an advance viewing of the AeroTrain
airport train system scheduled to begin service in 2009.
This is the first opportunity for media to view the new fleet of
AeroTrain cars, which are currently being tested.
WHAT: Update on Dulles Airport construction and
sneak-peak at the new AeroTrain airport train system in action
WHEN: Monday, August 18 at 10 AM
WHERE: Washington Dulles International Airport AeroTrain
Maintenance Facility
(Driving instructions to this
location will be provided upon RSVP.)
LIVE SHOTS: After the event concludes, the AeroTrain fleet
will be available as a live shot standup backdrop (upon request) until
6:30 PM.
SECURITY REQUIREMENTS
In order to gain access to the AeroTrain Maintenance Facility, all
participating media must:
- RSVP in advance
- Present government-issued photo
identification at the gate
- Present valid media credentials at the gate
The deadline to RSVP is Friday, August 15.
