Wow, and I thought _I_ had been scanning (monitoring!) for a long time.
Wonder what 155.55 was out there... City of Long Beach has a license for that frequency (KMA651) but I can't tell whether it's for fire or police.
Thanks for Police Call, Gene - keep the radios on.

PS, the uncredited dispatcher on "Emergency" (now available on RTN, Channel 7.3 digital) was Sam Lanier, who was a real-life dispatcher for the LA County fire department.
